18TH BIRTHDAY HARRY IN BIRDS & BOOZE BASH
PRINCE Harry is to throw a wild 18th birthday bash in his secret
boozing den - with the approval of dad Prince Charles.
Charles ordered him and brotherWilliam not to go abroad on holiday
this summer amid fears of a terrorist attack.
So Harry is being allowed to invite polo set pals to "Club H" - the
basement hideaway at Highgrove he once used for underage drinking
sessions. At the party on September 15:
-BOOZE will flow at the bar as the Prince enjoys his first legal
tipple.
-BLONDE girlfriends will let their hair down away from prying eyes.
-DANCE music will pound out from a state-of-the-art sound system.
Guests will include tearaway pals like Guy Pelly - one of the crowd
Harry was with when he smoked cannabis in the grounds of the
Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire.
Also there will be upper-crust beauties Lizzy Ward, Louisa Welby-
Everard and Emma Lippiat.
A royal source said: "It's a reward for Harry's good behaviour of
late. It is a gamble. But Charles hopes Harry won't let him down."
Charles, 53, agreed to the bash when security warnings after the
September 11 attacks wrecked his sons' plans for the summer.
Harry had to abandon a polo trip to Spain. And Wills, 20, was unable
to go on safari in Kenya.
The source said: "The party is the least Charles could do to
compensate. Harry turns into an adult on September 15 and Charles is prepared to
trust him to behave like one. He's cleaned up his act a lot after
drinking and drug-taking allegations. Charles will obviously be
keeping an eye on proceedings from a distance but does not want to
cramp his son's style. William will also be there to make sure things don't get out of
hand. He has convinced Charles that now is the time to give Harry a
bit of leeway."
Club H, also known as Harry's Bar, was also used for Wills' 18th.
But it shot to prominence in January when Harry's teenage boozing
sprees were revealed.
Charles let student Pelly, 19, stay in touch with his sons because he
kept quiet about the goings on.
Harry caused concern again last month when is was revealed he had
again been carousing in pubs.
But the source added: "Royal Protection Squad police will step in if
the party gets too rowdy. There were complaints that they did not do enough last summer when
Harry was out of control. They were not sure how far they could intervene then. But Charles
has told them to ensure the Princes are not led astray."

Montana woman accused of plotting to poison Prince William
A woman has been arrested in the US accused of plotting to poison Prince William.
Tashala Hayman, a 22-year-old telesales operator, is in custody after police raided her home and found a package containing a soft drink bottle laced with sodium cyanide.
The parcel was to be sent to the Prince at an address in Scotland.
Officers also found the addresses of Senators Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy, to whom Hayman is accused of posting two poisoned drinks with a note that read: "Have a Coke and a smile."
Police say they found the package to Prince William when they searched her trailer park home in Vaughn, Montana, after she was arrested for buying a handgun with a stolen debit card number.
Hayman faces up to 20 years in jail and £7,000 in fines if convicted. She has been remanded in custody pending a bail hearing.
