BESOTTED Prince Harry was reunited with girlfriend Chelsy Davy yesterday on an African paradise isle holiday.
The tearaway prince, on summer break from his Army cadet course at Sandhurst is spending quality time with South African Chelsy, 19, on the island of Bazaruto, off the coast of Mozambique- ending rumours that the couple were falling out of love.
When the couple last visited the African island in December with friends, they clocked up a £20,000 bill and plenty of criticism.
There the prince met Chelsy's family - including businessman dad Charles, who has links to Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe - on an alcohol-fuelled trip.
This time, his family hope, the strict regime at Sandhurst will have instilled a little more discipline in 20-year-old Harry.
One friend said: "Harry and Chelsy are totally loved up. The pair of them loved Bazaruto last time they were there - it's secluded and quiet."
Harry flew out of the UK on Friday to meet Chelsy in South Africa. They then flew on one of her father's private jets to the island.
William spent the first week of his holiday taking part in a diving course in Plymouth.

By VIRGINIA WHEELER and GORDON SMART PIE-eyed Prince William leaves a nightclub with girlfriend Kate Middleton after requesting a filthy rap song for her.Normally strait-laced Wills, 23, looked like he could do with some air after he downed vodka and cranberry juice cocktails and Sambuca shots on a boozy night-out. |
Action man Prince Harry has once again shown his adventurous side, shunning a relaxing holiday in favour of a gruelling diving course.
A red-jacket-clad Harry, who is currently on summer break from Sandhurst military academy, mucked in with other trainees to help move some equipment
Currently on summer break from Sandhurst military academy, the young prince was spotted taking scuba classes at Plymouth Harbour in Devon alongside some of his fellow recruits.
Harry took the plunge clad in a wet suit and diving mask as he took part in a pair of offshore dives, and donned a weatherproof jacket and knit cap for a speedboat ride and preparations on shore.
In his knit cap and waterproof jacket, the 20-year-old royal (top, centre) looked like just another diving trainee
The Prince signed up for the five-day class, which cadets are apparently encouraged to take in their spare time, rather than immediately jetting off to see girlfriend Chelsy Davy in South Africa. "Its the strongest sign yet Army life is having a positive impact on him," a source told The Sun.
Britain's Prince Harry has given up the chance of a holiday with his girlfriend to take part in an Army diving course.
The young royal, who is on a four-week break from Sandhurst military academy, was due to be reunited with his stunning lover, Chelsy Davy, in South Africa this week - but instead he chose to undergo scuba training in a flooded quarry in Devon, England.
The course, which lasts for five days, teaches Army cadets how to use scuba-diving equipment and understand safety signals underwater. An insider told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It is the strongest sign yet on Army life is having a positive effect on Harry." Harry and Chelsy enjoyed a romantic holiday in South Africa in April this year.
The prince flew more than 6,000 miles to be with his blonde girlfriend - who he hadn't seen since February - for a fortnight's holiday before he joined the Army. The smitten couple spent two weeks in the privacy of a rented house in an exclusive vineyard resort.
Prince Harry buys one, gets one free at city McDonald's
A royal picture exclusive has landed two youngsters a pool table they have been struggling to save up for.
Brother and sister Ollie and Charlotte Wace, who live near Newton Ferrers, struck photographic gold - and sent the hearts of tabloid picture editors fluttering - following an unlikely encounter with Prince Harry in the car park of the McDonald's restaurant in Plymstock.
Their image, captured on a mobile phone, of the Prince of Wales's younger son and third in line to the throne, tucking into a McChicken sandwich sitting on a kerb at the 'Golden Arches', netted them a "generous sum" from a national tabloid, enabling them to buy the highly-prized pool table.
The unexpected windfall was a real bonus to the pair who had, until now, been desperately saving up their pocket money.
Ollie, aged 12, had spent last weekend cleaning shoes as part of the fund-raising drive.
Mum Sally Wace said: "They have been trying to get extra pocket money any way they can to get a pool table."
She added: "They have probably managed to find it. They are delighted."
The paparazzi dream unfolded at the fast-food restaurant in Billacombe Road, when the Wace family called in for lunch at around midday yesterday.
Charlotte, aged 13, who attends Devonport High School for Girls, recalled: "Ollie said: 'Who are those people blocking the car parking space?' and I said: 'It looks like Prince Harry' and then I said 'It is Prince Harry'.
"I was really surprised. I didn't think it was him at first. Why is he here of all places?
"I heard his friends call him Harry."
Ollie, who goes to Plymouth College, said: "I didn't believe it was him at first. When I realised who it was I got my phone out and took a picture. He was sitting on the kerb.
"He fitted in completely. He was completely normal.
"You would never expect to see him at McDonald's."
Equally surprised were the other customers and staff at the fast- food restaurant, not least the aptly named dining area hostess Princess, who served the 20-year-old royal.
Store manager Stuart Bishop, aged 29, said the casually-dressed Prince had been with about eight other people, and had arrived in a mini-van.
Mr Bishop said: "It was a busy time as well, and we didn't see him until he was at the counter."
There he bought a strawberry milkshake and a McChicken sandwich, getting another free under a current promotion offer.
Mr Bishop said: "It was fantastic. It caused quite a stir in the store with staff and customers. We have never had a royal visit before."
And bosses at the fast-food chain's HQ were also quick to highlight the royal endorsement.
A statement released by the company said: "McDonald's are happy to confirm that Prince Harry visited one of our restaurants in Plymouth. We are delighted that Prince Harry chose to visit our restaurant, and are equally delighted that the Prince chose to take part in our 'buy one get one free' promotion."
Prince Harry is training to be an officer in the army at the elite Sandhurst Military Academy.
It is understood he is in the Plymouth area on training exercises.
After a tough few months of officer training at the elite military academy Sandhurst, Prince Harry is likely to appreciate his upcoming R&R with girlfriend Chelsy Davy even more than usual.
The 21-year-old is reported to be joining the South African student, whom he last saw six weeks ago, for a romantic tryst next weekend. Royal aides are keeping tight-lipped on where they will be enjoying their reunion, although the party island of Ibiza is tipped as a hot favourite.
While the pair are believed to have discussed staying at a secluded Ibizan villa owned by top DJ Fat Boy Slim, there is also the possibility they could take advantage of the privacy offered by Highgrove. With Charles and Camilla vacationing in the Highlands, the loved-up couple would have the Prince of Wales' Gloucestershire estate all to themselves.
Nineteen-year-old Chelsy, who is the daughter of a Zimbabwean game reserve owner, starts her ten-day break from Cape Town University this Friday.
MAKE-OVER: Harry's place is being spruced up
Contractors are sprucing up his quarters and other rooms. "They were pretty worn and just not fit for Royalty,"a senior Army source said.
And with brother Prince William also on the way to Sandhurst "it was a timely opportunity for a refit", he added. "The presence of two Royals makes it important to create the right impression".
Harry, 20, returns in two weeks - and a former Sandhurst cadet warned: "He just won't know what's hit him.
"The instructors take cadets to hell and back because they have been boozing it up and getting into bad habits during their weeks off."
Harry's time at Sandhurst so far has been blighted by sickness and injury. The ex-cadet said: "If he was shaky before the summer this could tip him over the edge."
After all, his father had to endure the embarrassment of an intimate and blushingly bizarre phone call to his then lover, Camilla Parker Bowles, becoming public. And William's mother, Princess Diana, was caught up in the Squidgygate scandal, in which she was heard in an intercepted call telling a friend that her life with Charles was `torture'.
Alas, William, 23, still seems to be touchingly naive when it comes to his phone. He and his refreshingly normal girlfriend Kate Middleton, 23, unwisely left their mobiles lying around the other day when they stayed the night at a country house hotel in the shires.
I am told: `They left their phones on the bed when they went out. `When staff came to clean the room, they should, by rights, have simply picked up the mobiles and tidied them away on to the bedside cabinets.'
Unfortunately, temptation is a terrible thing and in between the picking up and the tidying away, one member of staff could not resist having a peep at their text messages.
`He called up the young couple's texts to each other and had a read. They were actually quite innocent and touching. There was only one slightly saucy one, from William on Kate's mobile.'
Discretion prevents me from revealing what it said, but I am told: `It was rather sweet really, with just a hint of the risque about it. No one would be shocked.' Naturally, the nosey member of hotel staff couldn't wait to tell friends what he had seen on the mobiles.
But afterwards, he realised the implications and he ordered his pals not to discuss it further in case his indiscretion came to the ears of his employer who would, of course, have no choice but to dismiss him.
Nevertheless, the nation can be assured that William did not mimic his father, who in his famous intercepted call to Camilla fantasised about being her tampon.
The semi-skilled carpentry operative job had been advertised in an employment centre close to the base in Camberley, Surrey, the paper said.
The reporter supplied a false employment history and gave two false references, one from his mother.
The paper says it has been thanked by Clarence House for the investigation.
A source at the elite academy said: "Prince Harry is on scrub down duty.
"He will be on his hands and knees until the weekend, making sure the college is completely cleaned up. It is part of his training to be an independent officer, capable of looking after himself and commanding a unit of men."
Harry's dirty job is the latest hurdle in his gruelling course. But he is said to have impressed his instructors despite taking four days off sick.
The source added: "He has missed a few days but this is a tough training programme and he's done really well so far.
"Once he's completed the cleaning duty he can go and enjoy his summer holiday.
"Many recruits find the first term the hardest. There's a hell of a lot to deal with - sleep deprivation, forced marches and field exercises.
"He has got through all these tests and should feel proud of himself."
Harry plans to spend some time with Prince William after he breaks up. He has promised to coach his brother for his Sandhurst entrance exams, which he sits later this month.
If he passes, William will join Harry at the academy in January. He will enter as a graduate after getting a 2:1 degree in geography at St Andrews.
And that means he will be paid more than Harry, who did not go to university.
The 20-year-old officer cadet was put on loo cleaning duties along with a number of other recruits as he approaches the end of his first term at Sandhurst.
He was told to roll up his sleeves and make sure the place is spotless before being allowed to start his summer holiday today.

The detector alerts drivers to speed cameras
along their route as well as hand-held radars and camera vans.
It was clearly visible in Harrys Audi A3 as the 20-year-old drove away from a polo game at the weekend.
Harry and dad Prince Charles, 56, competed in the Ronnie Wallace Memorial tournament at Cirencester Park Polo Club, Gloucestershire.
Last week Harry sparked outrage by playing in another contest 48 hours after being deemed too poorly for square-bashing at Sandhurst.
But there was no sign of sickness as he claimed a trophy this weekend before refuelling with a hot dog.
