...for July 2001
Sixteen-year-old Harry made the headlines for being pictured at polo matches horsing around with several different girls, most of them blondes. This was Harry's "fun month," remembered for being a time when every turn around seemed to bring news and pictures of Harry hanging around with new girls. The names of these girls have virtually vanished: Emma Lippiatt, the young lady whom he swung around his waist; Emilia d'Erlanger; Annabel Holley; and Lizzy Ward, to name a few of the most named. It was the epitome of summer fun, and within the next year, the names of the girls would vanish from royal writing.
This was also the month that the polo team Team Highgrove first stepped out, consisting of Charles, William, Harry, and professional Duncan Forbes. Highgrove beat Cirencester Park 4.5 to 4.
