Prince Hurry maniac driver

The Sun

PRINCE Harry has been branded a reckless “boy racer” by worried Army mums.

They fear for their kids’ safety as Harry, 21, regularly disregards the 20mph speed limit at his base in Bovington, Dorset.

One local said: “I saw the Prince doing 60mph on a 30mph road off the base.”

Parents are furious how Harry dives his sporty black Audi A3 coupe inside Allenby Barracks.

Mum-of-two Sandra McGhee, who works at the base, said: “He drives around the barracks like a maniac. There are a lot of children around here who are worried for their safety.

“The boy needs to slow down before he has a serious accident and ends up injuring himself, or worse, someone else.

“A number of the mums got together to speak with senior officers and they have promised to get it sorted. Just because he is a royal he shouldn’t get away with being reckless.”

Harry is on a four-month tank commanders’ course at Bovington, just across the road from Bovington First School. One local told how he saw watched Harry whizz out of the base two weeks ago.

He said: “Harry came out of the front gate and turned left towards the village of Wool.

“As soon as he got out of the gates he just shot off. His protection officers were following and had to hammer it just to catch up.

“It’s a 30mph zone and he must have been pushing 60 only a few hundred yards down the road.”

Another mum said she saw the Prince have a near miss with one of the camp’s cats.

She said: “There was this almighty screech of brakes and I looked up to see his car grind to a halt feet from this startled tabby in the road. There would have been hell to pay if he’d run it over. If he doesn’t slow down he will have a serious accident.”

Harry was also seen recently driving back from nearby Weymouth at high speed.

And locals near the hamlet of Shaggs — where Harry has been staying in a secluded farmhouse with girlfriend Chelsy Davy — have complained about his driving.

He is frequently seen pulling up outside a store opposite the base to buy packets of Marlboro Light cigarettes and crisps.

A shop worker said: “You can hear him before he gets here. Harry drives like a lunatic. He loves to show off.”

It was claimed the Prince has been seen haring along country roads near the Weld Arms, a pub where he drinks with Chelsy.

Harry has been at Bovington since he passed out of Sandhurst military academy at Easter, and has five weeks to go there.

A Clarence House spokesman said last night: “We are not aware of any complaints.”

And a Ministry of Defence spokesman said they would investigate a formal complaint and treat the allegations seriously.

Prince's chukka pucker

By TOM REILLY

PRINCE Harry takes time to pucker up between chukkas with girlfriend Chelsy Davy yesterday.

The pair snogged in the royal box as they watched the super-posh Cartier International Polo tournament.

Chelsy looked happy — despite FOUR girls claiming sneaky snogs with the randy royal.

The party-going prince has been linked with a Page 3 model, a mum of two, an old flame and a masseuse in the last few weeks.

But Harry, 21, was only showing off his skills in the saddle at Guards Polo Club.

Cheered on by blonde Chelsy, also 21, he scored a goal for his dad’s side as they beat the Hurlingham club 7-6.

The young soldier certainly had a home advantage — the matches were being played at Windsor Great Park, in the shadow of the nearby castle.

Later, Harry swelled with pride as he took the absent Queen’s place to present England with the prestigious Coronation Cup after they beat New Zealand in the day’s big match.

One onlooker said: “Harry looked like he was having a great time.

“He played really well on the park — managing to score a goal for the Prince Of Wales’ side. But he seemed in better form off a horse.

“He couldn’t keep his eyes off Chelsy and the pair were inseparable as they walked around the grounds.

“She looked amazing in a little summer dress and she was definitely one of the most attractive girls there.”

Among the beauties was O.C. star Mischa Barton, 20. The actress turned heads in a dress that was almost see-through.

Wills pals collapse in 86°F

PRINCE William survived scorching sun during a Sandhurst training exercise yesterday — as NINE of his fellow rookie officers collapsed.

Two had to be helicoptered to hospital with heat exhaustion after donning nuclear warfare suits to march across moors.

The seven others were given first aid.

Wills, 24, was among more than 200 cadets left to continue the gruelling exercise near Otterburn, Northumbria — which The Sun warned on Tuesday was looming.

A Sandhurst source said: “It was more than 30°C (86°F). Cadets were dropping like flies. “Extra medics were on standby but cadets were in suits, 60lb backpacks and respirator masks. It was asking for trouble.”

Last night the two cadets who suffered the most were on their way back to Sandhurst. The MoD said they had been airlifted to hospital as a “precaution”. A spokesman for the elite military academy insisted training had to be “as realistic as possible”.

  • Still muddied from the polo field, the dress-down prince takes a trip to Tesco

    Dirty Harry

    Daily Mail

    24 July 2006

    By Olinka Koster

IN immaculate military garb, Prince Harry passed out from Sandhurst earlier this year. A month later he stepped out in a perfect City suit and bowler hat for a parade in Hyde Park.

But this weekend, impeccable Harry was nowhere to be seen.

In his place, a muddied young man in baseball cap and Che Guevara T-shirt was spotted popping down to Tesco with a few friends.

The Prince, who had been playing polo at Cirencester Park Polo Club, Gloucestershire, had not even bothered to change his trousers, splattered with mud from a match in the rain.

Pictures taken before the game, in aid of the Prince of Wales Hospice, showed him sitting on a horse chatting to his father and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who stood side-by-side.

Chelsy looked at ease, holding a giant yellow umbrella next to Prince Charles’s red and white one. And afterwards she, the Prince and two friends headed to the supermarket in nearby Tetbury.

His soiled appearance helped the group blend into the shoppers – some supermarket assistants didn’t even recognise him.

‘When Harry appeared at the supermarket with his friends, he looked really scruffy and had mud all down his trousers,’ said an onlooker.

‘Later we found out he’d been playing polo, but I think some of the shoppers who did recognise him were wondering why he was looking so dishevelled.

‘When one assistant asked what all the fuss was about and was told she’d just served Prince Harry, all she said was “You’re joking”.’

Prince Harry courts controversy by imitating the antics of alcoholic former football stars Merson and Gascoigne

Prince Harry pretends to gulp down beer at a polo match. Below, Merson and Gazza celebrate goals with their drinking antics

Even with his track-record, few people would have expected the third-in-line to the throne to be inspired by the antics of former alcoholic footballers.

In his latest gaffe, Prince Harry has been pictured miming the actions of downing copious amounts of alcohol.

The Prince's latest idea of a joke echoes the behaviour of former England stars Paul Merson and Paul Gascoigne.

Merson, who has struggled with alcoholism, infamously pretended to down a series of imaginary pints on the pitch after Arsenal won the European Cup Winners Cup in 1994.

The image was revisited by Paul Gascoigne after scoring for England against Scotland in the 1996 European Championships.

Lying on his back with arms outstretched, he gulped down water squirted into his mouth from a bottle held by team-mates - apparently signalling how he intended to celebrate after the match.

Prince Harry, who was snapped as he celebrated his polo team's victory in Berkshire, has increasingly made headlines as a result of his love of frequenting bars and clubs.

The picture is the latest embarrassing image of the Prince to appear in the public domain following a list gaffes including his appearance in nazi uniform at a fancy dress party.

    Prince Harry Havana laugh

    The Sun

    23 July 2006

PRINCE Harry worships a very different type of leader to his grandmother the Queen.

The Royal was spotted in a trendy T-shirt emblazoned with the face of Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara when he went out for lunch with girlfriend Chelsy and a pal.

Chelsy, 21, was earlier seen cooing over a baby at Cirencester Polo Club, Gloucs, where Harry was playing.

But his response was to puff on a ciggie. The partying prince must think babies are a real drag.

  • MEMBERS of the Royal Family completed a clean sweep of wins at Tidworth Polo Club yesterday.

Prince Harry helped the Army team to victory in the main event, The Rundle Cup; his older brother Prince William was a member of the Combined Services team that won Indian Cavalry Officers' Trophy and their cousin Zara Phillips was in the winning team in a charity polo match in which the players rode bicycles instead of horses.

The Army celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Rundle Cup Polo match being played in Britain by winning the annual contest against the Royal Navy by a resounding eight goals to three and a half.

In front of a crowd for more than 4,000 and on a perfect sunny afternoon at Tidworth Polo Club, Prince Harry, now with the Blues and Royals, was the star player, scoring three goals in the annual inter-service tussle.

Earlier in the afternoon the Combined Services Team beat South Africa, five goals to two and a half for the Indian Cavalry Officers' Trophy.

To complete a clean sweep for members of the Royal family, Zara Phillips led a team of eventers in a light-hearted charity match that included a chukka on bicycles rather than ponies. They defeated a team of jockeys that included Richard Johnson, Mark Llewellyn, Tom Scudamore and Luke Harvey from Radio 5 Live.

The victors, all household names in the eventing world, lined up with Clayton and Lucinda Fredericks, Rodney Powell, Mark Corbett and Zara Phillips.

Director of the Rundle Cup John Wright said: "Each year the event gets bigger, better and we are attracting larger and larger crowds. "It is very pleasing to see both Prince William and Prince Harry following in their father's footsteps. He supported polo at Tidworth for many years and we hope that will continue through the Princes and their cousin Zara Phillips for another generation."

  • Prince Harry is reportedly getting an invite on the inaugural sub-orbital spaceflight of Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic commercial venture into space.

The flights are short trips to the mesosphere or approximately 70 miles above Earth for £115,000 per person. Prince Harry will not have to pay, as he will receive a special invitation from Sir Branson’s son Sam.

The flight will see passengers spend about 7 minutes of the two and a half hour journey in total weightlessness. Currently, the only means for paying passengers to enter space is on board a rocket from the Russian Space Agency. This costs a whopping £35 - £40 million.

If Harry were to accept the invitation, he would be heading into space in 2008.

  • Britain's Prince William might join the same army regiment as his mother, late Princess Diana's, former lover.

24-year-old William - who is currently doing his officer training in Sandhurst Military Academy - has reportedly decided to join the Life Guards regiment.

It is the same division once served in by Captain James Hewitt - who had a five-year love affair with Diana, after he became her riding instructor in 1987.

After Diana's death, he shocked the nation and the royal family by revealing intimate details about the affair in a book entitled 'Princess In Love'.

According to Royalist.com, William's father, prince Charles, is not likely to be supportive of his son's recent decision.

A source was quoted as saying: 'Prince Charles in particular is unlikely to be impressed. Hewitt betrayed William's mother and tried to sell her love letters for millions of pounds. William has little time for him so it is astonishing that he is contemplating joining the regiment in which Hewitt spent 17 years.'

However, it has been claimed that William's choice of regiment has been completely unrelated to Hewitt's former service.

A source said: 'William knows the regiment's name stands for bravery and prestige.'

William's bravery was demonstrated recently, when a royal writer revealed the prince had offered to perform first aid on a dying football fan.

Royal biographer, Gyles Brandreth, says the 21-year-old prince was the first to offer assistance, when 50-year-old David Luckhurst was struck by a heart attack during a FA Cup Final in Cardiff, Wales, in May (06).

He said: 'As soon as he heard the unfortunate man had suffered a heart attack, he quickly scribbled on a piece of paper and passed the note down to his exhorts to say he's done some first-aid training and would be keen to offer some help.'

Medics were unable to save the man.

    Wills faces Nuke suit test

    By DUNCAN LARCOMBE

    Royal Correspondent

PRINCE William has begun his toughest Army challenge yet — a week preparing for nuclear war in a sweaty "NBC" suit.

Officer Cadet Wales, as William is known, will wilt in temperatures of more than 70°C on military exercises during the heatwave.

The 24-year-old will spend hours on manoeuvres in Thetford Forest, Norfolk, wearing a dreaded NBC — which stands for Nuclear, Biological or Chemical attack suit — AND carrying a pack weighing 60lb.

Wills will also have to wear a gas mask for up to four hours as instructors simulate nuclear warfare conditions.

The NBC challenge is the most feared among cadets on William's year-long training course.

Even in winter, cadets regularly collapse through heat exhaustion and dehydration.

But this week William and his 240 fellow recruits will have to take part in the exercise despite the sweltering heat.

The NBC suits are far thicker than normal combat gear and are lined with charcoal to protect soldiers from chemical strike. The suits do not "breathe" — so the sweat build ups on the inside.

A Sandhurst source said: "Everyone dreads the NBC exercise. The instructors have called in extra medics and they will be watching the cadets very closely. In four hours, a cadet may lose up to a stone in weight."

The Royal Military Academy confirmed the exercise would go ahead despite the heat.

A spokesman said: "It won't be cancelled because of the temperatures — after all it is about recreating the conditions of war."

Soldiers fighting in the second Gulf War had to regularly operate in the NBC suits.

How much more can Chelsy take?

    SOURCE:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/femail/article.html?in_article_id=397033&in_page_id=1879

    By REBECCA ENGLISH, Daily Mail

    23:30pm 21st July 2006

A masseuse, a TV presenter and a mother of two - Prince Harry's been linked to them all. So does the hard-drinking royal risk losing the woman he calls his 'first true love'? REBECCA ENGLISH investigates:

By all accounts it was a night of fun and flirting that ended at 3am with a tender, lingering kiss. Unfortunately for Prince Harry, the petite blonde in his arms was not his long-term girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, but mother-of-two Catherine Davies - 13 years his senior.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, Mrs Davies decided her brief encounter with the Prince was a perfect opportunity to make money and contacted Max Clifford.

Over three pages of the Mail on Sunday last week, she told in graphic detail how, after being introduced by mutual friends, she and Harry spent the night drinking in a series of fashionable London bars, before going in a group to a friend’s house in Chelsea where they enjoyed horseplay in an empty bath (conveniently captured by her friend on a mobile phone camera).

Later, she claims, the third in line to the throne literally swept her off her feet, pinned her against a wall and gave her a "long and lovely kiss".

"There he was, 21 years old and a prince, and he wanted to kiss me. Afterwards, I didn’t say anything - I was completely blown away," she said. Interior designer Mrs Davies, 34, insists she has no regrets about making such a private moment public.

"Word was getting out that something had happened between myself and Harry, and my children and I were being doorstepped by photographers, so I don’t feel I had any choice," she says. "I needed to make sure people read the truth. "I wish you wouldn’t describe it as a 'kiss-and-tell'. It makes it sound so seedy and it was nothing like that. I don’t have anything to be ashamed of."

Mrs Davies’ decision to sell her story is a matter for her, but it does raise a much more intriguing question: what was Harry doing laying himself open to such allegations from a woman who, if not quite old enough to be his mother, is certainly not far from it?

For Mrs Davies’ breathless account of her night out with the Prince is the third such ‘kiss-and-tell’ about Harry in as many weeks - not to mention the recent exposé of his dawn partying with TV presenter Natalie Pinkham.

So what is Harry playing at? Is the trouble-prone young Prince slipping off the rails again? And does his high-octane partying spell the end of his two-year relationship with ‘first true love’ Chelsy?

For while most friends insist the couple’s relationship is as strong as ever, almost all admit Chelsy has been receiving mixed signals from her boyfriend.

She is currently on a six-week visit to Britain from her Cape Town home, at the Prince’s specific request. According to friends, Harry was most insistent, following an idyllic two-week holiday in South Africa together in April, that they should spend time here as a "normal couple".

The two have been spending every spare moment together, drinking discreetly in country pubs and attending the occasional party - such as the recent Boujis bash at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire, where they spent the entire night deep in conversation.

Although she is largely living with friends, Chelsy has been given permission to stay over with Army officer Harry at Highgrove, his father’s Gloucestershire mansion, at weekends when he is on leave from his tank-driving course at Bovington, in Dorset.

And to ensure a little extra privacy, Harry has been given the use of an isolated cottage on nearby Lulworth Castle estate so Chelsy can visit him when his schedule makes it impossible to roam too far from base.

    Hideaway

The four-bedroom hideaway, just a 15-minute drive from the officers’ mess, would normally cost £1,500 a week to rent, but has been given to Harry free by the charming but ever-discreet Weld family, who have a long history of service to the Royal Family.

Quite the picture of domestic bliss, then. Which makes Chelsy’s absence during her boyfriend’s recent late-night escapade at Boujis nightclub all the more surprising.

"Harry loves Chelsy, without a shadow of a doubt," one member of his circle explained. "But the trouble is he just can’t resist a good night out. And for Harry that always involves copious amounts of booze and flirting with pretty girls - regardless of whether his girlfriend is over here or not."

But surely even Harry, who has already learnt his fair share of lessons about how royals should - and shouldn’t - conduct themselves in public, knows better than to party until dawn with a shapely brunette television presenter (Miss Pinkham) before noisily kissing her goodbye in the presence of waiting paparazzi?

And even if Harry cares little about his own reputation, should he not care more about the feelings of the girl he describes as his "first true love"?

According to friends, what hurt Chelsy more than anything was the fact that Harry’s partying prompted two newspaper articles by girls claiming to have enjoyed flirtations with him.

Low-grade kiss-and-tell specialist Coralie Robinson, who boasts luminaries such as Shane Warne and Rio Ferdinand among her exes, said Harry singled her out after ‘ogling’ her sexy dance moves one night at Boujis, and later told a downmarket tabloid: "He had his eyes fixed on my cleavage and was very, very drunk. I doubt Chelsy would have been too happy.

"In fact, when I asked him where his girlfriend was, he slurred back: 'Chelsy? Don’t worry, she’s not here. That’s why I’m so f****** drunk. I’m having a wicked night.'"

Miss Robinson’s account of her brief encounter with Harry prompted a similarly flimsy tale from masseuse Maya French, who also claimed the drunken Prince chatted her up. This time, she claimed Harry kissed her on the lips after the pair downed champagne and vodka shots, but when she made her way alone to his VIP room later in the night, he had passed out on a sofa in a drunken stupor.

One well-placed source who has partied with Harry on several occasions is rather damning in his assessment of the young royal. In fact, this society figure maintains that the young Prince has a significant "issue" with alcohol - and it is this that leads him into so many scrapes.

"I have been with him on several occasions when he has drunk himself into oblivion, passed out, come round and started drinking all over again until the early hours. He can’t seem to stop.

"Don’t get me wrong, Harry’s a lovely lad, but he does drink to excess, which puts him in some dangerous situations."

This account is supported by Coralie Robinson, who has told the Mail that on the night she met the Prince he was downing 'crackbaby' shots (vodka, champagne and passion fruit juice) "as if his life depended on it".

And friends of the Prince make no effort to deny tales of Harry’s drink-fuelled flirtations - although they stress that, to their knowledge, Harry has never been unfaithful to Chelsy.

    'He drinks like a fish'

"If there are two truisms about Harry, they are that he drinks like a fish and has gone through more girls than the entire Arsenal football team," said one member of his circle.

"But unlike his elder brother William - who, it must be said, also has an eye for the ladies - Harry doesn’t give two hoots about discretion. He’s a huge flirt, extremely tactile and will chat up anything in a skirt, no matter who’s watching - although since he has been going out with Chelsy, I haven’t seen him take it any further. I think it’s just the thrill of the chase." <> Which will no doubt come as something of a relief to Zimbabwean-born Chelsy and her family - particularly her controversial father Charles - for whom her relationship with Harry signifies a remarkable piece of social climbing.

Millionaire Mr Davy has been particularly worried, say family friends, that publicity over his business links to despot Robert Mugabe have harmed Chelsy and Harry’s romance. But friends of the 20-year-old student, who is studying commerce at Cape Town University, insist Harry’s background is not part of the attraction.

"Far from it - if anything, it is more of a hindrance," maintained one. "Don’t forget, Chelsy comes from a fabulously wealthy family. She has her own house in Cape Town and zips about in her Mercedes without a care in the world.

"Her relationship with Harry has thrown an unwelcome spotlight on her father and destroyed her privacy. She does not need the s*** that goes with dating a member of the Royal Family.

"The fact is, she is madly in love with Harry for himself - and the feeling is most definitely mutual."

It is understood that Harry - who was also exposed after a visit to a lap-dancing club with fellow cadets to celebrate passing out of Sandhurst in April - has apologised profusely to Chelsy over his exploits, insisting he just chatted with the girls concerned.

Chelsy has chosen to believe him, but has stressed she will not take kindly to being made to look so stupid again. Harry has also been spoken to on the quiet by Army officials, who have urged him to be a little more discreet.

"Harry feels he has done nothing wrong, but it has been stressed that an officer is meant to be an officer in every area of his life," one MoD official explained.

So what of the future for Harry and Chelsy, who will return to Cape Town next weekend, leaving her boyfriend to kick his heels over the summer?

"I know they are planning another trip to Africa, but Chelsy is still worried about what is going to happen over the next few months," said a friend. "Once Harry finishes his training in October, he could be sent anywhere in the world.

"Chelsy has her own life in South Africa and has no plans to move to Britain permanently. She hates the weather and doesn’t relish the idea of losing what little freedom she has left.

"Neither knows what the future holds, so they are taking each day as it comes. But Harry has reassured her he has no intention whatsoever of splitting up - despite the likes of Catherine Davies."

Indeed, the fact his encounter with the all-too-worldly Mrs Davies came just hours after he had appeared with his father at a concert to mark the 30th anniversary of the Prince’s Trust illustrates the struggle in Harry’s life.

There is the charming young prince whose heart is in the right place, versus the intrinsically lazy ‘spare’ to William’s heir, whose roving eye and love of a good time draws him to trouble. Perhaps if Harry learnt a little more discretion, he would be able to marry the both. And one day, maybe, even Chelsy.

  • Why William and Harry snubbed Princess Bea's birthday party

    SOURCE:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=397101&in_page_id=1770

By MARTIN BECKFORD and ANDREW WILKS, The Mail on Sunday

    22:00pm 22nd July 2006

Prince William and Prince Harry missed their cousin Beatrice's 18th birthday celebrations at Windsor Castle to party with the son of a jailed mercenary, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

As close relatives of Princess Beatrice, they had been expected to be among the guests at her themed ball.

Instead, they spent the evening dancing with friends at the Oxfordshire home of Jack Mann - the son of ex-SAS officer Simon Mann, who is serving seven years in a Zimbabwean prison over his role as the ringleader in an attempted coup in Equatorial Guinea.

Sir Mark Thatcher was also accused of being involved in the plot but escaped jail after paying a £265,000 fine.

While guests at the formal event, hosted by the Duke and Duchess of York, wore Victorian bodices or military uniforms, revellers at Jack Mann's 23rd birthday celebrations dressed down in jeans and T-shirts.

And as Beatrice mixed with Elle Macpherson, Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and Peaches Geldof - with butlers and maids attending to their needs - guests at Mann's event helped themselves to bottles of wine and cans of lager.

Party-goers - including Harry's South African girlfriend Chelsy Davy, wearing a floral summer dress with sunglasses perched on her head - also queued for chicken drumsticks, sausages and burgers cooked on a giant grill.

Harry is a close friend of Stowe-educated Jack, who trained alongside him at Sandhurst military college. The pair have both now been commissioned in the Blues and Royals.

Earlier, William, 24, and Harry, 21, spent the afternoon on the polo field. William rode alongside Jack as the Combined Services team beat South Africa at Tidworth, Wiltshire. In the next match, Harry scored three goals as his Army side beat the Royal Navy.

    Having a ball

Then the Princes headed to Grange Farm in Over Worton in Oxfordshire to join 200 guests at the estate of Jack's stepfather Richard Schuster. Mr Schuster married Jack's mother Jennifer in 1986.

Harry, wearing jeans and a dark green polo shirt, with a baseball cap tucked in his back pocket, was at the centre of the party - knocking back spirits and perching on the knees of admiring girls, despite the presence of his girlfriend. One guest said: "Harry started off all right but then he changed from drinking cans of Carlsberg to something in a glass. You could see his glass was getting fuller each time and he was having a real giggle with people.

"Then he went and sat on girls' laps, having a chat with them. Everyone was drunk by the end of it.

"Harry wasn't ratted but he was drunk. You could tell he'd had a few but he was just having a laugh with everyone."

While his brother entered into the party spirit, William, dressed in jeans and a dark blue T-shirt, did not eat a thing and left after an hour spent sipping from a can of Carlsberg.

It appears the gravity of Army life was never far from Harry's mind.

"He said how much he was enjoying it and that he wouldn't mind if he got sent out to Iraq or Afghanistan as long as he was serving his country,' said the guest.

But one topic not mentioned at all during the evening was cousin Beatrice's party being held an hour's drive away.

"I don't think anyone ever thought about it,' added the guest.

Last night a spokesman for Clarence House said: "It was made clear at the time of Beatrice's party that the Princes had other commitments. And we don't comment about what they do in their private life."

    Prince Harry's secret love nest

    SOURCE:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=396709&in_page_id=1770

At army camp Prince Harry spends his time enduring a gruelling itinerary as he trains to be a tank commander.

And strict army officers ensure their recruits have no distractions - especially of the female kind.

So the cheeky Prince has worked out a way around the strict no women rule at his base-by renting a romantic cottage nearby.

The 21-year-old has sourced the £1,500-a-week love nest, which is a 15 minute drive away from the camp at Bovington, Dorset.

Zimbabwean girlfriend Chelsy Davy has stayed with him 'several times' since arriving in England after finishing her exams in Cape Town last month.

But although the cottage, hidden in a tree-lined field is discreet in terms of location, its name is rather less subtle.

Called Shaggs, the title has provided a source of amusment for his peers.

A fellow recruit told The Sun: "Harry insists he had no idea what the place was called when he decided to rent the cottage. He's taken a real ribbing, but he sees the funny side now."

He added: "We know what he gets up to when he stays off camp, so what better place to stay than Shaggs?"

Clarence House have confirmed Harry has accommodation away from Bovington.

  • If she is upset by reports that Prince Harry has kissed a fourth girl behind her back, she is certainly hiding her feelings well.

For Chelsy Davy was spotted at a polo match looking happy and relaxed.

The 20-year-old Zimbabwean blonde appeared unfazed by rumours her boyfriend kissed mother-of-two Catherine Davies as she smiled and sipped Pimms in the sunshine at Guards' Polo Club, where Harry performed on a polo pony.

Catherine claims that she and Harry spent an evening flirting and he gave her a goodnight kiss at a friend's flat.

"We were mucking around when Harry lifted me off the floor and kissed me.

"I'm only seven stone and he was holding me off the floor against the wall kissing me. I was absolutely speechless," she said.

Catherine - who is separated from her husband - claims she frolicked with the Prince after the Prince's Trust 30th anniversary celebrations at the Tower of London in May.

Her story is the latest blow for Chelsy, who has been foced to face claims he has cheated on her with an old flame, a masseuse and a Page 3 girl.

Yesterday, Chelsy put on a brave face as she watched her boyfriend of two years play polo.

But friends fear her carefree attitude may mask bitter resentment.

One said: "Chelsy is very angry. This new woman has upset her all over again. She warned Harry enough is enough."

Harry's relationship with Chelsy blossomed after they met when she was a pupil at Cheltenham Ladies' College, near Prince Charles's Highgrove Estate.

  • British royal PRINCE HARRY has been left embarrassed after photographs purporting to show him urinating in a horsebox were published in several UK newspapers today (18JUL06). The 21-year-old was playing polo in Windsor, England yesterday (17JUL06) when he appeared to be so desperate to locate a toilet he relieved himself in the nearest private place he could find. And when Harry exited his make-shift lavatory he was met with a round of applause from several onlookers, including his girlfriend CHELSY DAVY.

  • Prince Harry is reportedly in hot water again, this time with girlfriend Chelsy Davy. It seems the 21 year old prince has a roving eye and the tabs have the exclusive story to prove it.

A 34 year old mother of two from Battersea, Catherine Davies, is the latest woman to come forward and claim a steamy night of passion with Harry.

Ms Davies has sold her story, detailing a tender kiss with the third in line for the throne. The kiss took place after a long night of drinking and partying, although Ms Davies denies either herself or Prince Harry were drunk.

Talking to The Mail On Sunday, Ms Davies said “I had no intention of ever saying what happened that night. The only reason I am is because somebody else squealed and I'm being absolutely hounded. Nothing happened and nothing ever is going to happen. We had a great time and a fun evening. I've committed no crime and nor has he."

The night began when Catherine and a group of friends met the royal party at a London bar. Ms Davies said "We've got mutual friends and I was invited to join Harry and a few others at the Art Bar in Walton Street. It was the first time I had met him. I knew it would be a fun night, though not necessarily because of him. I wasn't overwhelmed by the thought of meeting him - he's a human being like everyone else."

The pair hit it off and talked for ages over a few drinks. Ms Davies was impressed by the 21 year old prince saying "My first impression was that he was a lot taller than I imagined. Other than that, I thought he seemed very nice and polite. We were sitting two people away from each other and he introduced himself, saying: "Hi, I'm Harry. How are you doing?"

After a few hours, the royal party ended the bar hopping and went to a friends house in up market (and appropriately named) Chelsea for more fun.

After making Ms Davies a bacon sandwich and having their picture taken laying fully clothed in the bath, Prince Harry continued chatting to the blonde until 5am.

When it came time to leave, Harry, according to Ms Davies, muttered endearments and kissed her tenderly. Ms Davies said "We were mucking around over who was going to keep the cap when Harry lifted me off the floor and kissed me. I'm only 7st and he was holding me off the floor, kissing me. He must be at least 6ft 3in."

"I was absolutely speechless. I was against the wall and he literally lifted me off the floor and gave me a lovely kiss which I was stunned by. It was a long and lovely kiss. Afterwards I didn't say anything - I was genuinely, completely blown away."

Prince Harry and his Royal Protection Officers then drove Ms Davies home. During the trip back to Battersea, Ms Davies alleges that she was fooling around with the glove box when she saw cartridges for a gun.

After dropping Ms Davies home, Prince Harry said goodbye but not before getting her phone number and texting her to say goodnight.

Clarence House has refused to comment on the allegations and Scotland Yard, who is responsible for the Royal Protection Officers, said "We don't discuss matters of royal protection."

  • Soldier Prince Harry Has 'L' of A Time

    Written by Joanne Leyland

    Saturday, 15 July 2006

He may be a Royal Prince, whose grandmother the Queen doesn't even need a driver's licence, let alone hold one. But when Harry took to the roads in an armoured tank, he was still legally obliged to display a learner's L plate.

The Prince, officially known as Cornet Wales in the regiment, was on a training run with an instructor as part of his Army course at Bovington Camp, near Bournemouth, at the end of which he'll become a troop leader in the historic Blues and Royals regiment of the Household Cavalry.

An onlooker who saw the soldier Prince at the controls of the Spartan light tank said: "He looked really confident. He was smiling and seemed to know what he was doing. He went on a long drive on a mixture of land – some cross-country, some hard road. He was really enjoying it. It was nice to see him looking so enthusiastic. He’s obviously taken to Army life like a duck to water."

  • Royals plan a tribute to Princess on anniversary of tragedy

    Daily Express Weekend

    16 July 2006

    By Andy Tristem

A MEMORIAL service to mark the tenth anniversary of Princess Diana’s death is being planned, with the Queen being asked if she wants to pay her own tribute.

Princes William and Harry are being kept closely involved in the delicate discussions taking place at Buckingham Palace with the Queen’s senior officials.

Palace sources say the commemoration of Diana’s life will be “tasteful and discreet”. Officials do not want the anniversary – on August 31, 2007 – to be hijacked by the immense industry that has been created in recent years.

It is believed that a simple memorial service, attended by both the Royal family and the Spencers, will be the most appropriate mark of respect for Diana’s extraordinary life.

It is not yet clear if the Princess’s brother Earl Spencer will be asked to speak at the service. His emotional speech at the funeral service was seen as an attack on the Royal family but relations have since improved.

A Palace source revealed: “Even though it is over 13 months away, plans are already afoot to commemorate the anniversary of Diana’s death.

“Nothing has been remotely finalised, but there will be some sort of event, possibly a service.

“The most important thing is that her sons are happy about what occurs.

“It is likely the event will include some of the things Diana did in her life to show that her legacy lives on.

“There may be some sort of acknowledgement from the Queen about Diana. Nothing has been ruled out and nothing has been ruled in.

“The reason the anniversary is already on the royals’ agenda is that these things take a considerable time to sort out. It might seem just a minor matter of sending invitations out but the service has to be perfect and it has to set the right tone.”

The Royal family fears the anniversary will spark yet another glut of tacky books and figurines. By organising its own official commemoration, the Palace hopes to retain more control.

The source revealed: “People have been trying to cash in in many different ways. Only this week, the former ITN cameraman Sebastian Rich was announcing how he planned to sell the story of his so-called tryst with Diana.

“It’s all unbelievably tawdry. William and Harry do their best to ignore it all but sometimes they can’t avoid it. At best, they both find it extremely unsettling.

“It was felt that an official commemoration would be a very good option. But it’s not going to be an extravaganza. It will be a sober mark of respect for a very great woman.

“ We are going to take our time over this and we will get it right.”

  • William & Harry's Emotional Phone Call

    Written by Joanne Leyland

    Saturday, 15 July 2006

The British media are impressed with the initiative, which was taken solely by William and Harry themselves, to release a statement condemning the image of their mother dying in the back of the crashed Mercedes.

According to press reports, it was William who took the lead to make public the hurt he and Harry feel over the publication of the paparazzi photograph showing Diana receiving medical attention in the moments after the car crash which killed herself, boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed and chauffeur Henri Paul.

The controversial image is taken from a new book on the late Princess of Wales, Lady Diana: The Criminal Investigation by Jean-Michel Caradec'h, in which the author is reported to make "lurid allegations" about the behaviour of Diana and Dodi in the car in the moments before the fatal crash.

Currently continuing his army training at Sandhurst, Charles and Diana's oldest son phoned Harry at Bovington army camp to discuss options.

Although they released a statement condemning the autobiography written by Diana's former "rock", Paul Burrell, in recent times both Princes have taken the view that they should not comment on controversies surrounding their mother. This is because the Princes believe public words from themselves do nothing but prolong the publicity, especially when, as in this case, it relates to the promotion of a new book.

However, in this instance they simply wished to protect their mother, a source saying of the telephone conversation: "It was a highly emotional call for both of the boys...for a magazine to publish a photograph of their dying mother as she is tended to by paramedics is beyond the pale."

"Obviously they haven't seen the pictures, but they honestly believe it simply couldn't get much worse. Just to know that they are out there is distressing enough. Sometimes you just have to stand up and be counted."

However, despite the clear signal that the publication has understandably upset her sons — who are pictured in the Daily Star playing polo just a few hours before news of the controversy — the editor who took the decision to print the image of Diana as she lay dying remains defiant.

Speaking from the offices of Italy's Chi magazine, editor Umberto Brindani says he is "surprised at the clamour" his decision has caused, but is standing by his decision to publish, saying: "The photograph is not brutal or offensive, it is not morbid or shocking. It would say it is touching and tender and I retain that in no way is it a lack of respect towards Princess Diana or the sensitivity of her family and of readers in general."

"I am a little bit surprised by the reaction of the England people and the England media."

Brindani has even suggested the paparazzi photograph sheds light on what really went on in the aftermath of the crash on August 31st 1997, saying: "I can understand the reaction of Prince William and Prince Harry, but I think that this picture that we published is part of our French official inquiry."

However, Diana's former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, is dismissive of such a claim and is adamant that the image should not have been published, telling ITN News: "This is, in my view, a publicity stunt to advertise these pictures, and I think the British people —and people generally throughout the world — will say: 'Look, we don't want to see that. I think it is distasteful'."

  • PRINCES SO SAD AT DYING DIANA PHOTO

    Daily Express Weekend

    15 July 2006

By Richard Palmer and Nick Pisa

They took the extraordinary step in a strongly- worded statement which expressed their sadness at the insult to Princess Diana.

And they reserved their right to take legal action to stop further publication of offensive material.

The angry Princes said they were deeply saddened that the Italian magazine Chi, which is on sale in Britain this morning, had used the image, taken moments after the Paris car crash that took Diana’s life.

They insisted they would be failing in their duty to their mother if they did not try to protect her, as she once did them.

In a statement released by Clarence House, William, 24, and Harry, 21, said: “Following this week’s publication in an Italian magazine of material relating directly to the death of our mother, we feel deeply saddened that such a low has been reached.

“Despite the support shown to us and our mother’s memory by so many people over the last eight years, we feel that as her sons we would be failing in our duty to her now if we did not protect her as she once did us.

“Therefore we appeal to all forms of media throughout the world to appreciate fully that publishing such material causes great hurt to us, our father, our mother’s family and all those who so loved and respected her.”

It is only the third time that the Princes have issued statements in a direct response to attacks on their mother’s memory. In 2003, they attacked Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell for betraying her in a book and in 1998 they issued a plea for her to be left in peace.

    ‘Deeply saddened’

The black and white picture showing Diana with her head to one side while a paramedic tries to give her oxygen as she lies slumped in the wreckage of her car, has caused an international furore.

Under the headline “World Exclusive: The Last Photo”, it accompanies an article by French crime writer JeanMichel Caradec’h, who has written a book about the 1997 crash which killed Diana and her lover, Dodi Fayed. His book, Lady Diana: The Criminal Investigation makes lurid allegations about what Diana and Dodi were doing in the car.

    Shocking

The decision to publish the photo was defended by Chi’s editor Umberto Brindani who said he was “surprised at the clamour” it had caused.

He added: “The photograph is not brutal or offensive, it is not morbid or shocking, I would say it is touching and tender and I maintain that in no way is it a lack of respect towards Princess Diana or the sensitivity of her family.”

He claimed the photo, together with other documents published in the magazine, would help to establish whether Diana died as the result of an accident or an assassination plot.

His decision to publish the picture was supported by Italian newspapers and television stations which carried reports yesterday condemning British newspapers for daring to criticise Chi.

But in Britain, many have expressed revulsion at its decision to break an unofficial worldwide agreement to avoid using pictures of Diana in the moments after the crash.

Royal biographer Penny Junor said the publishers of the magazine should have spared a thought for William and Harry.

“ This is totally tasteless,” she said. “How would anybody like to see photos of their dead mother?

“ It is ghastly. I cannot believe anyone would do that.”

Others called for a boycott of the Milan-based magazine and a ban on sales in Britain, where Chi sells around 1,000 copies. But distributors refused to stop delivering it.

Adrian Luxmore-Ball, managing director of the London firm IPN, the sole distributor of Chi in Britain, insisted that he was contractually obliged to circulate the magazine. “ The publisher has made it plain that he wants it distributed in Britain. We can’t set ourselves up as moral censors,” he said.

Customs officials insisted that there were no laws in Britain that prevented such photographs going on sale.

Dodi’s father, Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed said: “This heartless pursuit of money brings shame on those responsible for producing such a vile publication.

    Loved

“It makes me sad and angry that a magazine would reproduce an image of the Princess as she clung desperately to life.

“The editor and the author, who probably have families of their own, have no thought for the feelings of those who loved the Princess, first and foremost her sons, the Princes William and Harry.”

Joan Berry co-founder of the Diana Circle, which works to preserve the Princess’s memory, said those involved in publishing the photo were “scum”.

  • William and Harry’s ‘great hurt’ at death crash picture of Diana

    Manchester Evening News

    14 July 2006

PRINCES William and Harry have revealed their deep sadness following the publication of a photo of their mother Diana taken moments after the car crash which killed her.

The royal brothers issued a statement strongly criticising the decision to use the image in an Italian magazine.

They said they were “deeply saddened that such a low has been reached”.

They added that they would be failing in their duty to her now if they did not make moves to protect her as she once did for them.

William and Harry said: “We appeal to all forms of media throughout the world to appreciate fully that publishing such material causes great hurt to us, our father, our mother’s family and all those who so loved and respected her.”

The image, used in Italian magazine Chi, showed the Princess of Wales being given oxygen in the Mercedes at the Paris crash site.

The black and white photo accompanied an article by French crime writer Jean-Michel Caradec’h, who has written a book about the 1997 crash which killed the princess and her lover Dodi Fayed.

Lady Diana: The Criminal Investigation, due out later this month, uses images taken just after the fatal accident. The decision to use the shocking picture has sparked widespread outrage.

But it has been defended by Chi’s editor Umberto Brindani, who said it was “touching” and “tender”, not offensive.

Many others, including Harrods chairman Mohamed al Fayed, Dodi’s father, joined the outcry.

He said: “This heartless pursuit of money brings shame on those responsible for producing such a vile publication.

“It makes me sad and angry that a magazine would reproduce an image of the princess as she clung desperately to life.

“The editor and the author, who probably have families of their own, have no thought for the feelings of those who loved the princess, first and foremost her sons, William and Harry.”

Asked if the princes might find the photo offensive, Mr Brindani said: “On the contrary, I think they are the two people above all who want to know the truth.

“She is not dead in the picture but looks like a sleeping princess. I published the picture for a very simple reason – it has never been seen before.

“In my opinion, it is not a picture which is offensive to the memory of Princess Diana.

“I understand that other magazines – in France and Spain – will publish photos shortly.”

  • SOURCE:Source: http://www.theroyalist.net/content/view/957/1/ Prince Andrew is said to be upset after it was confirmed that his nephews, Princes William and Harry, won't be attending tomorrow night's lavish party in honour of his eldest daughter Princess Beatrice's upcoming 18th birthday.

Despite having been close to the Duke and Duchess of York's children in their early years, especially during the time Diana was close to her on-off "BF" (best friend) Sarah, William and Harry have pleaded prior engagements to excuse themselves from attending the ball.

The event is set to see hundreds of guests appear in costumes worn around the time of 1888 in recognition of Beatrice's rather unique birthdate: 8th August 1988 (8/8/88).

The absence of the two young Princes is exacerbated by the fact so few members of Beatrice's royal family are attending the fancy dress ball, Charles and Camilla having already said they won't be going. However, in fairness it's likely the event — which is being held almost a month before the Princess's actual birthday — is aimed more towards the younger generation.

An insider tells journalist Richard Kay: "There hasn't exactly been a row, but I do know that Prince Andrew is a bit fed up the boys won't be there. It's bad form really, because you expect the whole family to be on show at these dos."

Although usually prone to refusing to discuss what they deem to be 'private' matters, Clarence House are openly admitting that the young Princes won't be at the Windsor event, saying: "William and Harry are not going."

The news of their absence puts to rest rumours that Charles and Diana's youngest son would officially introduce his longtime girlfriend Chelsy Davy to his royal relatives, most especially his grandmother, the Queen.

  • Chelsy is braced for end of affair

    Daily Express Weekend

    9 July 2006

    By Camilla Tominey

CHELSY Davy fears she is about to be dumped as Prince Harry’s girlfriend.

Friends have been telling the 21year- old Zimbabwean for months that “ long- distance relationships don’t last”.

But it is the never-ending barrage of stories about her boyfriend’s flirty antics when they are apart that is really getting to her.

Chelsy, daughter of multi-millionaire Zimbabwe ranch owner Charles Davy, is developing an increasingly short fuse with her man, also 21, after a constant drip-feed of negative stories about their relationship.

One close friend who has been a constant ally of Chelsy’s during her two-year love affair with the third in line to the throne revealed how Chelsy is finding it increasingly difficult to be upbeat about the romance.

The friend said: “She’s become much more moody since she started dating Harry. I think that in her heart of hearts she knows that they’re not going to get married – or at least not for a very, very long time.

“ Things are fine when they’re together. They love each other to bits. But the problems always start when they’re apart.”

While Kate Middleton is seen as a safe bet for William, Chelsy is considered a more controversial contender for royal bride because of her father’s alleged links to dictator Robert Mugabe. According to the source, Chelsy’s friends at Cape Town University, where she is in her final year of a business and commerce degree, have told her to prepare for the worst.

The source said: “I know that several of Chelsy’s friends have told her that long- distance relationships don’t last. All that’s done is make her feel really unsettled.

“I’m sure they probably mean well when they tell her not to be surprised if it all falls apart. I mean it’s a given that he’s in the Army and one of the boys and that he just wants to have a good time.

“Chelsy knows that he’s not going to commit for a long time yet.”

Chelsy’s fears about Harry are made worse by his penchant for clubbing and flirting. She gave him a tongue-lashing in April after he went to a lap-dancing club to celebrate the end of his training at Sandhurst.

And she hit the roof over newspaper stories that he shared a kiss two weeks ago with TV presenter Natalie Pinkham, 28, after a boozy night out at Boujis, his favourite London hangout.

Last September the Sunday Express revealed that Chelsy and Harry had exchanged love tokens to be replaced with wedding rings. She last visited Harry in June, when she watched him play polo in Berkshire.

  • Prince Harry fulfils boyhood dream

    16:52pm 9th July 2006

Aged eight, an excited Prince Harry could hardly contain his delight as he visited military barracks in Germany with his mother.

The youngster, already said to be fascinated by 'all things military', grinned as he clambered aboard a Scimitar light tank.

Thirteen years on, the Prince recreated the pose as part of his army training.

But, aside from his rather more serious expression, there was a crucial diference this time round - he got to drive the tank for real, Now 21 and fulfilling his childhood dream of a military life, the third-in-line to the throne took to the wheel of an armoured reconnaissance vehicle for the first time.

Having successfully completed the Signals phase of his Troop Leaders course at Bovington, Dorset, he is now on the Driving and Maintenance section of his training.

Concentrating as he wears a communications helmet and protective goggles, the prince must learn to drive, command and maintain a tracked reconnaissance vehicle, otherwise known as a CVR.

Next, he will have to master gunnery, including live firing, followed by the 'tactical application' of all he has learnt so far.

Eventually, Cornet Wales, as he is now known, will command 11 soldiers and four Scimitar tanks and hopes to see action on the front line.

His early experience of riding in a light tank - when he donned fatigues marked HRH The Prince on a visit to barracks in Bergen-Hohne in July 1993 - is said to have sparked his interest in a military career.

Diana, Princess of Wales had spoken of her son's interest in 'all things military' and soldiers' uniforms before the visit, which was recognised as the prince's first public engagement except for 'family set pieces'.

He went on to train at the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst.

Last night, an onlooker said: 'Looking at the two Harrys is remarkable. In the first picture his military interest had just clicked and he was clearly a very excited little boy.

'In the second, he looks far more serious but is doing everything he always wanted to do, and seems very committed to it. The photos are a piece of Royal history.'

A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Defence said: 'Prince Harry will be on the Driving and Maintenance course for the rest of this month, and will complete the entire Troop Leaders course in October.

'As a Troop Leader, Harry will eventually be qualified to command a troop of four armoured vehicles.'

  • Prince William joins sport stars for charity run

    SOURCE:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=394705&in_page_id=1770

    14:19pm 8th July 2006

Future heir to the throne enjoys charity run

Polo may be his preferred sport, but the future heir to the throne proved he is as skillful on two legs as he is on a horse.

Prince William today joined an assortment of runners including his contemporaries at Sandhurst, their families and sporting heroes to run a mile for Sport Relief and help raise thousands of pounds for the charity.

Around 1,500 people took part in a curtain raiser for the main countrywide event at the elite military academy where William is currently in officer training.

Prince William, 24, led a starting team which included his commandant, Major General Peter Pearson, hurdler Colin Jackson and rugby star Josh Lewsey.

Starters orders were given by boxing legend Sir Henry Cooper, with the assistance of a giant silver bell.

To ensure the charity run was not too easy an assault course was added complete with 8ft high walls to scale.

But all those who took part still made it over the finish line in a respectable 14 minutes and nine seconds.

Major Pearson said that he and his officer cadets and staff were 'delighted' to set an example for the nation in running the mile for Sport Relief, which raises much-needed money to help vulnerable people leading tough lives in the UK and the poorer countries of the world.

He said: 'As you can see we don't do anything by halves. The mile probably wasn't going to tax many of the people here today and so we thought we would run it in various guises and invite a few celebrities.

'What this shows is that everybody and anybody can do this. We've had pregnant ladies, people in wheelchairs and some people have walked and there's nothing wrong with that, everyone can do their bit for this fantastic charity.'

Those taking part were followed around the course by every sporting team in Sandhurst, including cyclists, a polo team, beagles and their handlers, hockey goalies and tennis players keeping up a continuous rally as they ran.

This was added to by a unit of Ghurkhas in full military regalia and complete with rifles, cadets towing a massive truck, families of Sandhurst staff including mothers with prams, dogs, toddlers and grandparents, and at the rear Sandhurst's chief of staff Colonel Finlayson and academy adjutant Major Segrave.

At least £3,000 was raised for Sport Relief as a result of the race today.

  • WILLIAM JOINS HARRY IN SEEING THE FUNNY SIDE OF ARMY LIFE

Not long after Prince Harry had difficulty retaining his composure on duty, Prince William seems to have found it equally hard to suppress a smile as he took part in a parade at Blenheim Palace last week.

Dressed in ceremonial uniform, William, who is training to be an officer at Sandhurst Military Academy, struggled to keep a straight face as his Blenheim Company was inspected and presented to His Grace the Duke of Marlborough.

In April, his brother Harry likewise struggled to conceal his amusement at a comment made by his grandmother, the Queen, during a Sandhurst parade

The problem of maintaining a suitably sombre mien clearly runs in the family, as the future heir to the throne's suppressed amusement brought to mind Harry's blushing hilarity as he graduated from Sandhurst in April. The young royal was reacting to a comment by his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, who stopped in front of him and said: "Now here's a face I recognise."

  • Flirty Harry Tried to do Dirty with me

A PRETTY masseuse has told how Prince Harry couldn't keep his hands off her after she gave him a sexy rub-down.

Maya French claims the sozzled prince chatted her up, kissed her on the lips and twice made a date with her in his VIP room at London's Boujis club, only to pass out drunk before she got there.

She told the News of the World: "He tried it on with me. All it needed was the nod from me and I could have been in his bed. He made that plainly obvious."

Harry will be in trouble when girlfriend Chelsy Davy gets her hands on him. She's already smarting over his naughty night out with his ex, TV presenter Natalie Pinkham, and Page 3 girl Coralie Robinson.

Maya, who works as an ‘Ibiza Angel' offering seven-minute massages as a VIP treat, first met Harry two months ago. "Even though he's a prince and I'm a commoner, we just clicked," she said.

And from then on, Harry was very much hands-on with the stunning masseuse.

"He was very touch-feely, stroking my arm. He didn't try to hide the fact he fancied me," said Maya

And soon Harry was asking the 21-year-old for a massage. Maya revealed: "I was really flattered because he had ALWAYS said no to the offer of a massage from other Angels.

"I couldn't believe that I was the first person he wanted to give him one."

Maya started massaging his back before moving on to his shoulders, neck, head, ears and arms.

"He was writhing with pleasure, rolling his shoulders and lolling his head. He told me that it was the best massage he'd ever had. I was pretty chuffed with that."

So chuffed that she decided to give the prince extras—adding three minutes to the usual seven-minute massage."I pushed the boat out for Harry but only because he's a prince," she said.

However the extra time proved too much. Maya said: "When I stopped, he just sat there motionless. My first thoughts were, ‘Oh my God, I've killed him'. I was worried that I had massaged his temples too hard."

But he had just nodded off and when he came to he apologised and fixed it with Maya's boss so she could party with him. They drank champagne and shots—and then he made his move. "He leaned in towards me and kissed me on the mouth," said Maya.

She had to go back to work but agreed to meet Harry later.

Maya revealed: "When I turned up he was passed out in a drunken stupor on a sofa with his mouth gaping wide open. He was SO drunk."

He did the same thing when she met him again at the club three weeks later. Maya says: "True to form, when I turned up there was Harry sprawled out on the sofa, out for the count."

Maya said: "Harry is like a kid in a candy store inside Boujis. He thinks he can have any woman he wants. They queue up outside his VIP room.

"His girlfriend needs to know what he's like. If he was my boyfriend I wouldn't trust him an inch."

  • Harry Gets a Rollicking from Charles

Prince Charles has reportedly "rollicked" his youngest son Prince Harry for bringing the Royal Family into disrepute with his behaviour.

According to media reports, the Prince of Wales — who, along with Diana, subjected his children to far too many scandalous headlines of his own — was reportedly furious to see Harry's antics splashed across many of Thursday's newspapers following his 5am kiss with TV presenter Natalia Pinkham.

The young Prince then went on to receive another angry tirade from his longtime girlfriend Chelsy Davy who flew in to Britain from South Africa last week expecting to enjoy time with Harry.

Just days later she would have been horrified to discover he'd allegedly been chatting up a Page 3 girl in a nightclub and later (in the words of the tabloid press) "smooching" with the TV girl who is reported in some quarters to be an "old flame".

According to a royal source: "Yes, Harry is a young man and he likes to have a laugh. But he is also a prince and with the title comes responsibility. There is a sense that he should try and curb the rowdy public nights."

"Charles doesn't particularly enjoy waking up to find his son in the headlines. Harry might be enjoying his nights out but a lot of the other royals aren't".

Referring to the reactions of angry Chelsy: "If you fly all that way to be with the one you love it's a bit of a kick in the teeth to see them living it up with another girl. It's even worse if you know they once had a bit of a thing for that girl."

Natalie Pinkham continues to insist there was nothing in the early morning kiss she and Prince Harry shared, saying: "We're just mates and have been for year. He's in a relationship and the idea of anything else is ridiculous."

  • Harry and Chelsy Make Up

Britain’s Prince Harry is reportedly trying to patch things up with girlfriend Chelsy Davy after spending a boozy night partying with an old flame.

The royal is rumoured to be taking South African Chelsy - who he has been dating for two years - on a romantic weekend break in the countryside, to make up with her.

According to Britain’s the Sun newspaper, blonde Chelsy was said to be furious after hearing reports Harry went to a London club with pretty Natalie Pinkham.

Sources also claimed the pair shared a goodnight kiss after partying at the capital’s trendy Boujis club.

Harry, 21, and a group of friends had gone to a friend’s basement flat after spending hours at the nightspot.

Former TV presenter Natalie, who the prince was once said to be “infatuated” with, is said to have asked Harry for a kiss as she left the party.

She reportedly called: “Oh Harry, give us a kiss.” Harry was said to have replied: “Oh, not here.”

Natalie then went back down into the stairwell – leaving witnesses wondering whether they had smooched.

One onlooker told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Their exchange was quite flirtatious and Natalie had obviously been drinking. Harry had clearly had a beer or two but he was not staggering around blind drunk.

“She popped back downstairs for about a minute and then came back up the steps and went home.”

Natalie has insisted the episode was a “non-event” and says the pair are just friends.

  • The Temptation That's In Danger of Destroying Prince Harry

    Written by Joanne Leyland

    Sunday, 02 July 2006

You have to wonder how much longer Chelsy Davy will stay with Prince Harry, a young man who seems to have two very different personas: one the quieter, gentle and genuinely caring and polite Prince, the other the drunk who appears not to be in control, or perhaps even aware, of his actions.

The Sunday newspapers here in the UK contain several unsavoury stories about the behaviour of the third-in-line to the throne, all of them containing one worrying element: his love of drinking himself into oblivion.

It's been reported (although this perhaps goes without saying?) that Chelsy Davy told boyfriend Prince Harry she would end their relationship if he was involved in one more embarrassing scandal.

The threat from an understandably furious Chelsy came following media coverage of Harry's 5am kiss with TV presenter Natalie Pinkham.

Today comes even worse and, I have to say, very tacky and sensationalist reporting of the young man who, publicly at least, always appears to have so much to offer the world...if only someone (preferably a loving member of his family) would take him in hand and offer him some love and support, and stability, and nurture the qualities he's inherited from both of his parents, Charles and Diana.

The Sunday Mirror is running a full spread feature by a clearly PR savvy and publicity hungry young woman who says she was "chatted up" by the Prince last week in Boujis nightclub in London in the hours before the Prince was 'caught' kissing Natalie Pinkham outside the home of his former aide, Mark Dyer.

Coralie Robinson, last week referred to as a "Page 3 model" (but not referred to as such in today's Mirror report), says she caught Harry's attention when she pinched his bottom, saying of her encounter: "He had his eyes fixed on my cleavage and was very, very drunk. I doubt Chelsy would have been too happy if she'd have been watching."

After asking him where his girlfriend was during his night out, Harry replied: "Chelsy? Don't worry, she's not here. That's why I'm so f****** drunk. I'm having a wicked night."

Referring to the Prince's friendship with Natalie Pinkham, the publicity hungry Coralie who is a presenter on music channel MTV (aren't they always?!) says: "When I pinched Harry's bum Natalie gave me a steely-eyed glare. As if she was saying: 'Stay away, he's mine.' She flung her arms around him and they hugged on the dancefloor. She was acting like his girlfriend."

"I couldn't resist pinching Harry's bottom. But Natalie wasn't happy one bit....Natalie looked incredibly jealous when Harry started dancing with me again. It was very clear Natalie didn't like me getting close to Harry".

"Natalie made it clear she didn't want me around, so I just left. I didn't want any confrontation. But I had an incredible night out with Harry. He's a great guy. I'm glad Chelsy wasn't around, but I just wish Natalie hadn't been around either."

She tells how she first danced for Harry at another exclusive London club, Pangaea, two years ago, a meeting the Prince clearly remembered, reportedly telling Coralie: "Oh my God, it's you. You were dancing for me that night. You're an incredible dancer. I liked you moves. Let's go dance."

Says Coralie, who's been romantically linked with other rich, famous men, including pop star Robbie Williams, England and Manchester United soccer star Rio Ferdinand and Australian cricket star Shane Warne: "Harry was having a whale of a time. He was very drunk. He's a great dancer, very confident. He was a bit sweaty and not as steady on his feet as he could have been but he's got a lovely smell about him. And he's really, really handsome in the flesh."

The Prince reportedly went wild when Madonna's 1980s hit Holiday blared out on the dancefloor, joining in the chorus, singing "Holiday! Celebrate!".

"He knew all the words to the song and afterwards joked that we should all go on holiday. But he never mentioned taking his girlfriend Chelsy along."

Without any shame, Coralie admits she unbuttoned her revealing red shirt, worn over a pair of tight jeans, so as to entice her royal fan: "Harry kept on winking at me. I caught him a couple of times checking me out. He realised and went a bit red. He might be dating Chelsy, but that certainly doesn't stop him from flirting with other girls."

If all of this is true (and we have to keep in mind that such stories as those in today's Sunday newspapers are often overly sensationalised for effect) then it's little wonder Chelsy — who despite what people may feel about her suitability as a possible royal partner appears to have been nothing but loyal to Prince Harry — is furious.

Referring to last week's media coverage of Harry's early morning kiss with "old flame" Natalie Pinkham, a friend of the Prince's girlfriend tells the Mirror: "Chelsy gave Harry a piece of her mind. She was extremely angry and upset. Chelsy is desperately in love with Harry and he's equally mad about her. But Chelsy doesn't like being made a fool of."

"Harry's apologised non-stop. He has told her they are just friends and were having a bit of a laugh. But Chelsy has made it very clear she doesn't want Harry making a fool of her again."

Sadly, as to be expected following last week's extensive coverage about the Prince, the News of The World are also featuring Harry's antics, with yet another claim of less than impressive behaviour, that worrying label of "drunk" once again being attached to his name...not once but repeatedly.

In this instance the allegations come from a massuese, Maya French, who she first met two months ago: "He tried it on with me. All it needed was the nod from me and I could have been in his bed. He made that plainly obvious."

According to the paper, 21-year-old Maya works as an 'Ibiza Angel' who gives seven-minute massages as a treat to VIPs.

"Even though he's a prince and I'm a commoner, we just clicked. He was very touch-feely, stroking my arm. He didn't try to hide the fact he fancied me."

She was delighted when the Prince requested a massage from her, saying: "I was really flattered because he had always said no to the offer of a massage from other Angels. I couldn't believe that I was the first person he wanted to give him one."

Of the massage, during which she tended to his neck and shoulders, Maya said: "He was writhing with pleasure, rolling his shoulders and lolling his head. He told me that it was the best massage he'd ever had. I was pretty chuffed with that."

"When I stopped, he just sat there motionless. My first thoughts were, 'Oh my God, I've killed him'. I was worried that I had massaged his temples too hard."

The Prince had simply fallen asleep and apologised before requesting from Maya's boss that she be allowed to go partying with him. Once again, it wasn't long before Harry was drunk, a state which Maya claims led to some unexpected behaviour: "He leaned in towards me and kissed me on the mouth."

The two separated but agreed to meet up again later. Yet again, the words "Prince Harry" and "drunk" are soon reunited.

According to the masseuse: "When I turned up he was passed out in a drunken stupor on a sofa with his mouth gaping wide open. He was so drunk."

The story was the same at their next meeting, three weeks later: "True to form, when I turned up there was Harry sprawled out on the sofa, out for the count."

"Harry is like a kid in a candy store inside Boujis {nightclub}. He thinks he can have any woman he wants. They queue up outside his VIP room. His girlfriend needs to know what he's like. If he was my boyfriend I wouldn't trust him an inch."

If two such stories weren't enough for Chelsy to face, the Mail on Sunday runs a third, this time in a less sensationalist style of reporting.

According to the Katie Nicholl gossip column, Prince Harry chatted up yet another woman in Boujis nightclub. It would appear his association with this London nightclub, one which attracts many famous names including footballers and TV celebrities, is in danger of killing the positive reputation for which Harry has been rightly praised in recent times thanks to his good public works and dignified appearances alongside the Royal Family, as well as his commitment to his studies at Sandhurst military academy.

A few weeks ago, Princes William and Harry, along with Kate Middleton, watched as socialite Georgina Downie fought in a charity boxing match at a London hotel.

Now it would appear Harry has been showing his appreciation for Georgina, onlookers claiming he made a beeline for the fashion student inside the club last week....just moments after Chelsy Davy left the venue.

According to an onlooker: "Harry had had quite a lot to drink but he'd clearly spotted George."

Says 21-year-old Georgina, who unlike the earlier examples is certainly not trading on Harry's name or betraying him in any such way, explains: "I know him and we were talking. We didn’t dance, Harry was too inebriated. And we certainly didn’t kiss."

While the reports about Harry's alleged womanising ways are worrying, it's surely the repeated reference to his drinking that should be of utmost concern to those who genuinely care about and love the young Prince who lost his mother — a woman he truly adored — at such a young and vulnerable age.

Surely it's about time somebody asked why the young man who does such amazing and genuinely good work for Aids orphans in Africa — a role which, if encouraged more, could leave him feeling far more fulfilled — feels the need to repeatedly drink himself into a stupor, one which leaves him worryingly open to damaging allegations and the attentions of women who, in some instances, appear to have a direct line to the more sleazy elements of the tabloid Press?
