Playboy Prince WELL READ: Prince Harry's top shelf mags were found in St James's BUILDERS working in St James's Palace have discovered Prince Harry's secret stash of porn.
Dirty Harry's collection of girlie books and magazines—described as "substantial and exotic" by one palace aide—was found under the floorboards of his old bedroom.
"It wasn't what the workmen were expecting to find under there. God knows what future historians would have made of them," said an aide. "Razzle and Asian Babes...it's not exactly Time Team, is it?"
The magazines had been abandoned when Harry, his brother William and Prince Charles moved into Clarence House next door. "It was probably just less embarrassing for him to leave them behind," said a family friend. The collection is understood to have run into scores of glossy magazines, some only available as special imports. "Most teenage boys have got a secret stash of off-colour magazines. His big brother certainly did," said one family friend.
"Understandably, it's not the sort of thing you want your father to see. He'll be very embarrassed that they've come to light."
The collection was discovered when the former royal apartments were being redecorated.
"The builders thought it was hilarious. Eventually they told palace staff who took it all away.
Harry had quite a library, but it isn't likely to make it into the royal archive at Windsor Castle," said an aide.
Staff immediately incinerated the sauciest magazines, while others were placed in a sealed container in case Harry ever wants to collect them. Exotic Prince Charles's trusted assistant, Michael Fawcett, is understood to have masterminded the clean-up.
"Michael is a safe pair of hands. He can be relied on to be very discreet," said a family friend. Royal romeo Harry, 19, makes no secret of the fact that he has the hots for exotic models. He raised eyebrows when he pulled Page 3 favourite Lauren Pope in a London nightclub and he was also caught canoodling with model Cassie Sumner, whose picture and vital statistics were listed on two call-girl websites.

Wills refuses to follow tradition & join the Forces; He tells Charles: I want to be simple farmer instead
By Dean Rousewell
PRINCE William will break with royal tradition by snubbing a career in the Armed Forces - for a job in FARMING. The controversial move has the backing of his dad Prince Charles and The Queen. But it is believed to have angered Wills's grandfather Prince Philip who believes all male heirs should be toughened up with a spell in the Army, Air Force or Navy. It will also mean William, 21 and second in line to the throne, could become the king - and commander in chief of the Armed Forces - without any experience of life in the services. A highly-placed source told The People: "William is discussing what he plans to do but is adamant he does not see his future in the military. "The Prince was an excellent member of the cadet force at Eton and even won the Sword of Honour for best first year cadet. "In the past he had expressed an interest in joining the Welsh Guards. "But in the last year he has gone completely cold on the idea. "Instead he has become more interested in his father's work in farming and shares most of his values."
Wills could help manage his dad's Duchy of Cornwall estate when he finishes his geography degree at the University of St Andrews next summer. The estate covers 141,000 acres in 25 counties and helps cover the cost of Charles's public and private life. Wills already shares his dad's passion for organic farming and takes an interest in the problems that have faced British farmers in recent years such as foot-and-mouth disease. The source added: "Wills wants to take a hands-on role, helping tenants with ideas on how they could diversify and improve their incomes. It is certainly not a traditional path for the heir to the throne to take. But William won't be railroaded into a career that he is convinced is not right for him." Wills's blue-blooded relatives have enjoyed mixed results during their stints in the Armed Forces. THE QUEEN reached the rank of junior commander at the age of 18 in the ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service) in the Second World War. Her father KING GEORGE VI was a Royal Navy officer in the Battle of Jutland in the First World War. PRINCE PHILIP was a Navy highflyer, eventually becoming a commander. Wills's dad PRINCE CHARLES obtained his RAF wings before transferring to the Navy in 1971. PRINCE ANDREW left the Navy in 2001 after a distinguished career that included active service in the Falklands War. PRINCE MICHAEL, the Queen's cousin, was the last senior member of the Royal Family to attend Sandhurst Royal Military Academy. He retired from the Army in 1981. Only PRINCE EDWARD found himself unsuited to service life. He quit three years after joining the Royal Marines.

Wills KOs Di butler chat
By STEVE KENNEDY PRINCES
William and Harry have axed a meeting with Princess Diana's butler Paul Burrell. William publicly invited Burrell to a showdown after his damaging revelations about the Royals. But the princes are said to be upset further at reports that Burrell, 45, has added an extra muck-raking chapter to the new paperback version of his book A Royal Duty.
Sources close to Wills, 21, and Harry, 19, said they feared Burrell would reveal a "secret" their mother had spoken of in her last letter to him.
Diana wrote: "I wanted to write on paper how enormously touched I am that you share this excitement with me as well. What a secret." Last night a Clarence House spokesman said: "The princes have not met Mr Burrell. There are no immediate plans to." Royal guard at Di tribute ANTI-TERROR chiefs will launch a massive security operation to protect the Royal Family at the opening of the Princess Diana memorial. Senior Royals — including the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William — will be at the public dedication of the £3million Diana fountain in London's Hyde Park in July. Government ministers will also be there, providing a tempting target for terrorists. A senior Palace courtier said: "There are a lot of real concerns over security." The ceremony is expected to draw a huge crowd as tens of thousands pay tribute to Diana. The Royals, Tony Blair and other VIPs will be inside a "secure" area next to the fountain.
May 17, 2004 - - Prince has royal time in South Africa
Prince Harry, the younger of the late Princess Diana's two sons, was spotted in Cape Town several times over the weekend, often in the company of a blonde British woman apparently named Kelsey. He spent three straight nights partying until the early hours of the morning. The prince and a large group of friends went dancing at the Rhodes House nightclub on Queen Victoria Street on Friday night, according to the club's owner, Giorgio Nava. Though there is some speculation of an intimate relationship between Prince Harry and the British woman, a weekend newspaper reported that she was nowhere to be found at the club. The entourage allegedly went largely unnoticed among the crowd at Rhodes House for most of the night, allowing the prince a rare opportunity to escape the spotlight. Nava says Prince Harry was partying and having a good time, much like any other guest at the club. The weekend paper reported that only after the flashes of photographers' cameras began to arouse curiosity did the word start to spread among clubgoers that they were in the presence of royalty. Soon after being spotted, Prince Harry left the club through a secret exit. Spottings of Prince Harry are becoming quite a regular occurrence in Cape Town. About a month ago he was reportedly seen in Cape Town with a blonde South African woman, whose identity was never discovered.

WILLS' FIRST PUBLIC SMOOCH
By Heather Greenaway
PRINCE William and girlfriend Kate Middleton have gone public with
their love with a passionate clinch in a busy pub.
They kissed at a party at the Golf Hotel in St Andrews after a
university rugby tournament.
Onlookers say the couple seemed very much in love.
One said: 'Wills and Kate couldn't keep their hands off each other.
They were up dancing and were kissing. They are clearly very much
together.
After that, neither William or Kate can deny they are boyfriend and
girlfriend.'
The couple were enjoying a party organised by Wills' favourite pub
Ma Belles.
Earlier in the day, the 21-year-old prince played for the Rat Pack
team, one of 20 sides in an annual seven-a-side rugby competition
sponsored by pubs in St Andrews.
Kate, 21, didn't turn out to watch him play but joined him for the
post-match bash.
Friends say the prince has been dating the pretty brunette since
last summer.
They have gone to great lengths to keep their relationship secret
and denied their romance after being snapped together on a skiing
holiday in the Swiss Alps last month.
They met while studying the same history of art course at St Andrews
before William switched to geography.
Soon after, he paid £200 for a front-row seat at a charity student
fashion show, where Kate strode the catwalk in a see-through lace
top and black bra.
They have been sharing a house with two other friends on the
outskirts of St Andrews since September.
