...For May 2006
May 20, 2006 -And they also admitted being such avid telly fans they squabble over the remote.
The brothers gave the interview alongside dad Charles at his Highgrove Estate to mark the Prince's Trust 30th Birthday.
During the informal chat, shown on ITV1 tomorrow at 6.55pm, Wills and Harry also admit loving sitcom Friends - and take the mickey out of Geordie Pop Idols hosts Ant and Dec over their dodgy past as 90s chart wannabes PJ and Duncan.
During the interview Wills is asked if he and Harry have similar tastes in TV.
WILLS: Yes, we tend to. We like the same sort of things, although there is usually an argument over the remote control at home about who watches what - that usually goes on for quite a while.
HARRY: Friends is a safe bet.
ANT: So Harry, you mentioned you watched the X Factor, did you watch Pop Idol as well, because I would say out of the two...
HARRY (pointing to Wills): "He won't admit to it but we did both watch it, especially American Pop Idol.
DEC: Argh! That wasn't so good that one!
ANT: But if you're watching anything else, then I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! I can highly recommend.
WILLS: I wonder why?
DEC: But we are looking for contestants for the next series of I'm A Celebrity so if...?
HARRY: You can chuck Simon Cowell in there with his high-waisted trousers.
DEC: That's not a bad idea.
ANT: That's a great idea, I don't think he'd go for it.
The tables were then turned as Charles asked the interviewers: "Do you have to try out all those things before you do them in I'm A Celebrity?"
ANT: Oh no.
CHARLES: You don't eat all those disgusting things?
WILLS: They should do.
ANT: I once tried some of the green ants.
DEC: They're an acquired taste.
ANT: They taste kind of citrusy, apparently you just bite the bottom of them and spit the heads out, so they're not too bad.
CHARLES: Have you tried a witchety grub?
ANT: No.
WILLS: Ah, they look so nasty.
The talk turned to music with Dec asking Charles: How important are William and Harry in keeping you in touch with what's relevant today?
WILLS: Do we look fashionable?
CHARLES: I'm sure they think they are very important. No, they are very good at keeping me in touch with what's going on a bit. I mean particularly on a sort of music front and things like that. I can't keep up with all the different new bands.
WILLS: One you did miss was PJ and Duncan...they were very good.
ANT: They were brilliant.
Dec asked the young princes about their musical preferences: "Do you have similar music tastes or are you quite different?"
WILLS: We're quite similar.
HARRY: Very similar.
WILLS: I'd say his was pretty shocking but mine was very good. But apart from that we tend to like pretty much the same music. Ant turned to
Charles: "Last time we spoke sir, you were saying you're a classical and jazz fan.
CHARLES: Yes I am rather. I tell you who I also think is wonderful is a chap called Leonard Cohen.
WILLS: Is he a jazz player?
CHARLES: No, not really, but he's remarkable...he has this incredibly sort of laid-back gravely voice.
ANT: Your Royal Highness, congratulations on 30 years of The Prince's Trust.
CHARLES: You're very kind - thank you very much. I can't believe it is 30 years. It is rather worrying. And I'm still alive.
Special glasses to view ITV1's 3D broadcast are on sale at Tesco, post offices and the Carphone Warehouse, with proceeds going to the trust. A longer version of the interview is on ITV1 on Sunday at 12.45pm.

London, England (AHN) – The future king of England, Prince William, has been quoted as calling himself a ‘poor student’ who cannot afford to go on a Caribbean vacation to Mustique, an exclusive West Indies island, mostly favored by Hollywood stars and royalty.
However, clothing tycoon John Robinson, the multimillionaire behind the Jigsaw fashion chain, has offered to loan his hillside home to the Prince and his girlfriend, Kate Middleton after William was worried that the cost was beyond his reach.
Britain’s Daily Mail reports that William, who flew out for his weeklong break last Saturday, is understood to be making a donation to charity in lieu of the cost.
Meanwhile, reports speculate that the prince might also pop the question and ask his girlfriend's hand in marriage while they vacation on the Caribbean isle together.

Prince William's relationship with his girlfriend, Kate Middleton, moved a significant step forward yesterday when they appeared together for the first time at a family wedding.
The couple arrived by coach for the marriage of Laura Parker Bowles, the daughter of the Duchess of Cornwall, to Harry Lopes, an underwear model turned accountant, in Lacock, Wiltshire.
Prince William and Miss Middleton, who were among 300 guests, were both looking sun-tanned after a holiday together in the Caribbean. They have been together since they began sharing a flat in 2002, when they were students at St Andrews University.
The presence of Miss Middleton, 24, at an event also attended by the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry shows that she is now completely accepted in royal circles.
